Business Planning Services Plus

Does your business plan tell you where you need to go and how to get there?

We have a unique four step process to develop and implement a business plan to improve your business success and profitability.  In today’s fast-changing business world, your business plan can become obsolete overnight.  More than a few businesses start out without a formal plan and are driven only by the owner’s vision.  This may work for a while, but eventually growth and market changes will make a formal business plan essential for businesses of all sizes.

The unique Roster Network four-step process to develop and implement your business plan is as follows.

1. Developing a business plan on theory alone is an invitation to disaster.  That’s why The Roster Network starts with defining, documenting and communicating the reality of what you’re actually doing in your business with the Profitability Assessment and the Position Matrix Communication System.

2. After this information is gathered, we research how you compare with other companies in your market with our unique Benchmarking services. Benchmarking can include specific work activities, tools and processes in addition to the usual financial benchmarks.  If your company needs interim goals before attempting to reach industry benchmarks or if you already are an industry leader, we will work with you to identify and set meaningful goals throughout your business.

3. We then assist in you in developing the business plan to achieve the goals that have been set.  We facilitate business plan development and assist you in taking the lead and in the documentation of the plan.  Experience has found this approach to be superior to "canned" business plans provided by consultants.  After all, you and the others in your business must take the lead in executing the business plan!

4. If desires, we then use our Roster Network Performance Management Documentation Facilitation to create the operational and other documentation necessary to implement your business plan. This documentation also meets many of your other business needs, including ISO 9000 registration and Roster Network Knowledge Management Certification!
