ISO 9000 - The Facilitation Process

The Roster Network’s process starts with identifying the reality of what your employees do and how they do it with the Position Matrix.  This procedure identifies specific work activities and tools, systems and procedures used by your employees.  This specific documentation assures that your quality and procedure manuals reflect what your employees do and how they do it as opposed to the "canned" documentation that is written by some consultants.

The in-depth facilitation resulting from the Position Matrix Communication System and Roster Network's company wide documentation process assures that our process is ISO 9000:2000 compliant.

Another significant benefit of this process is cost savings.  A tool and process list can be generated in a series of workshops of 20 to 30 employees.  This process presents a considerable savings when compared to the costs of consultants interviewing all of your employees on a one on one basis.

Direct cost savings are not the only savings.  The Roster Network process assures that employees are not taken off the job any longer than necessary for the purpose of gathering information regarding tools and processes and work activities.

Position Matrix objective job descriptions are also generated in these workshops.  These job descriptions are an essential component of the required documentation and have many additional benefits, from increasing productivity to promoting employment related risk management.

      The Document Team

A Document Team is then created for each major tool or process identified in the workshops.  This team is charged with developing the documentation for that tool or process.  The Document Team process assures the accuracy and efficiency of your quality and procedure documentation.  After all, who knows the work better than those doing it?

The Document Team is also charged with an ongoing review of the tools and processes and are empowered to change the systems and procedures they use and update the applicable documentation as they develop new insights into productivity.  This creates a focused empowerment for the employees and a procedure for innovation that is subject to management review as needed.

Documentation Media and Management

The quality and procedure manuals can be created in manual form or as a web for intranet or internet use, by either your staff or that of your Roster Network member.  As an optional service, your Roster Network member can manage and update your documentation with PerformanceWare.
