Additional OutSearch Information

There are three types of OutSearch Services:

1.   Group OutSearch Services meet the needs of administrative, skilled and industrial hourly workers who generally are able to find new employment within the community and generally do not relocate to find a new job.

2.   Individual OutSearch Services meet the needs of displaced supervisory, managerial, or technical salaried persons who will most likely continue their careers in the same industry and community.

3.   Executive OutSearch provides the more highly compensated senior manager, executive or professional person who generally will have to look farther and longer to find comparable employment and who are often willing to relocate to continue their careers.

Group OutSearch.

Following are the service included within a Group OutSearch program.

An initial workshop will be held to cover the following:

a.   Explain the OutSearch program, how it works and the resources and opportunities it affords, including a review of the process-what’s in it for them as candidates, the tools and resources available to them and how to use these tools and resources in looking for a job.

b.   Develop Position Matrix job descriptions for the jobs the candidates are vacating.

c.   Develop resumes for the candidates.

We will process the Position Matrices and resumes into word processing files and create a standard form of cover letter for the candidates to use in mailing to prospective employers.

3.   The completed Position Matrices and resumes will be posted on the web site for the candidates to review; and, if need be, revise the Position Matrices and resumes.  Copies will be mailed to those individuals who do not have internet access as identified at the first workshop.  Candidates will be given until a date certain to review and revise their Position Matrices and they will be published on this date whether or not they have been reviewed.

4.   The Position Matrices and resumes will be made available in word processing files to you and the candidates for generating hard copies and will be listed on either or both of our Jobs and Resumes web site (http://www.rosternetwork.com) and/or a web site at a different URL (web site address) with the employer's name and logo and/or other information attached.  Following is a diagram depicting the suggested structure of the web site.  This structure may be modified to fit the employer's needs and desires.

The additional resources include links to other jobs and recruiting web sites, on-line tutorials on the OutSearch process, searching the web for jobs, other places to look for jobs, and interviewing.  The tutorials will be made available in word processing format for those candidates who do not have computers and internet access.  It is anticipated many of the Group OutSearch candidates will find jobs without directly using the internet.

We will market the web site(s) to employers in your general area through fax blast and e-mail and design and place advertising the web site and the candidates in the local media if the employer desires.

      Individual OutSearch

Individual OutSearch services are the same except that the workshops are conducted on an individual basis for persons who have supervisory or management roles and who plan to continue their careers in the same general industry and community.  It is expected that Individual Candidates will receive more consulting than Group Candidates and additional assistance in identifying potential employers.  Individual OutSearch candidates will have their resumes posted on rosternetwork.com if their OutSearch is not contemporaneious with a Group OutSearch.

Executive OutSearch

Executive OutSearch Services are available to meet the needs of the more highly compensated senior manager, executive or professional who will search a much broader region, if not nationally, to continue his or her career.  In addition to the services offered Individual OutSearch candidates, the Executive OutSearch Candidate will receive:
