General Position Description

Beautiful Not-for-Profit Continuing Care Retirement Community of 66 acres, seeks a Marketing Counselor to promote and market their Independent apartments and cottages.  Community, located in the Fort Mill, South Carolina area, opened in 2001 and features Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing facilities as well.  Residences are very affordable, and spacious.  Many on-site amenities and activities.  Has not had person on-site, thus candidate must have track-record of building census in senior living, a minimum of 3 years.  Must have outgoing personality, love working with Seniors, and enjoy interacting with residents and families.  Must have an empathetic and energetic personality, and understand the various media and marketing venues.  Must seek to be involved in outreach activities, give tours, initiate programs and seminars as appropriate.  Beautiful living environment, close to a University.  Salary plus commission, compensation eventually being based on stable fill-up. Potential for overall compensation of $45,000.-$60000/year!

Compensation

$20 to $22K + Commission of $2,500. for every entrance fee paid

-Give programs/seminars on-site/off-site, as appropriate.

-Meet with prospective residents/families as necessary

-Give tours of community as necessary

-Oversee any additional media marketing promotions and initiatives

-Track results of marketing efforts, analyze for improvement and implement changes if needed

-Track results of Sales made vs. marketing efforts expended.
