General Position Description

Operate CNC equipment and drilling machines without complex set-up responsibilities. Monitor quality of work processed. Communicate any tooling changes, quality issues, etc. with appropriate people.

Compensation

$10.00-$16.00 Per hour to start

Minimum Position Requirements

Our client has determined the following are the minimum position requirements that apply to this position.

Experience in a fast paced environment with excellent customer service skills .

High degree of mechanical skill, accuracy and quality

Macro Activity 1: Run CNC Machines

-Know start up and shutdown procedures. (Zero out the machine)
-Know 2, 3, and 4 axis movements along with table and fixture indexing directions.
-Have knowledge of cutting tools. (Drills, end-mills, inserts)
-Know how to make tool lengths offsets.
-Understand how to download and upload programs.
-Have knowledge of how to do basic editing of a program.
-Do routine cleaning and machine PM`s as needed.
-Monitor and maintain machine fluid levels.
-Understand FANUC control panels.
-Must be able to stand, bend, squat, lift, and walk for 8 hours.

-Spot check products through the run as per the QC check procedures.

-Must be able to use and read QC gauges and instruments.

Macro Activity 3:  Material Handling

-Move product to and from your work area.
